Family Mission Statement
Here are some important questions which you must discuss with your family members in order to help you develop your own family mission statement:
1. What kind of family do we want to develop? Can we imagine the kind of relationship, love, atmosphere and quality we develop in the next 10, 25 or even 50 years?
2. What can we fulfil in God's kingdom as a family?
3. What kind of family would you feel comfortable to bring friends in?
4. What kind of things at home embarrasses you?
5. What kind of things at home makes you feel safe?
6. What is there that makes you want to come home?
7. What kind of quality would make your parents attractive, and accept their influence on you?
8. What kind of quality would your parents accept your influence?
9. What do we hope our descendants to remember about us?
You need the whole family to discuss together. There won't be promises without participation. The discussion needs to be thorough, and let's cherish the process. You can write your family mission statement after collecting everyone's opinion.
