Teamwork Secrets
The Secret of Teamwork -- The Ten Commandments of Unity That Must Be Observed
1. Communication should not be blocked, but should be unimpeded.
a. Relationship with God
Smart people are busy using their own intelligence and cannot solve spiritual problems; God can only reveal His heart to those who think they are not smart enough and come to ask God.
b. Relationships with people
Satan's trick is to deceive people, making them so busy that they have no time to communicate, do not want to communicate, and do not understand the importance of communication. The foundation of teamwork is love for each other.
There must be communication between the two parties. Keeping dissatisfaction in mind will definitely undermine teamwork. Speaking is not the same as communicating. Communication is sending messages effectively and the other party receiving them accurately.
2. Don't lose your vision and look forward to your goals
Unity comes when both parties have the same direction and the same goal. A good relationship must have a common policy. To be powerful you must not lose focus. Methods can vary, but the goal must be consistent, otherwise nothing can be accomplished. When a group of people focus on the same vision, they can be very powerful.
3. Do not neglect arguments and eliminate hostility
Trusting people is a decision. Trust is not something you do with your brain, it's something you do with your heart, and it's the decision to believe that the other person's behavior is out of good intentions. Don't be critical or suspicious of others, and don't be overly sensitive and easily hurt.
4. Don't take things too seriously, be sensitive to needs
Philippians 2:4: "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." The purpose of service is for people and to build the church. Therefore, the team must share everyone's expectations for growth, and the team is successful only when it can support everyone to achieve these expectations.
5. Don't underestimate the process and be tolerant of mistakes
There will also be God's good intentions and designs in the process to perfect us, build us up, and establish us. Failure is the process to success, and failure breeds success.
6. Don't be rash in expressing, which has to be clear and organized
Satan often creates small misunderstandings to destroy relationships. Therefore, communication cannot be hasty, discussions cannot be concluded arbitrarily. There must be space for opinions to be expressed. Opinions must be expressed clearly and in an organized manner, and resolutions must be recorded.
7. Discipline must be observed, and one must be diligent in practicing it
Without a common order, trust will disappear. To cultivate strong morale, we must have a common desire to abide by discipline.
8. Decision should not be hastily drawn, and voting should be avoided
The meaning of minority obeying the majority is not the minority, but obedience. We should respect and listen to the opinions of the minority, and not make hasty decisions. We should make sure everyone is convinced before we can work together. Once you make a decision, it becomes your own decision. Don't stick to your position anymore.
9. Do not spread gossip and strive to maintain harmony
People who are afraid of conflicts and don't know how to deal with their emotions will gossip. If we take the initiative to express ourselves with a sincere attitude when disputes begin, it will be easy to put out the spark. To deal with your emotions, you must first identify your emotions and confess your emotions to God. You also need to be mentally prepared to accept hurt. When you love someone, you are easily hurt. But if you can recognize what you are easily hurt by, you can learn and grow. In short, gossiping is a bad habit and must be avoided.
10. Don't ignore the "small things" and celebrate the grace together
If you are excited and grateful for small things, you will not be easily discouraged. If you always count the Lord's grace, you will gain strength. We must learn to affirm each other, support each other, appreciate and encourage each other, and cherish each other.
